I am always on the lookout for publishers accepting unsolicited submissions. Sometimes when you go to a publishing company's site, it is like a puzzle finding their submission page. The links below go directly to their submission/guideline page. These publishers all publish children's books.
I have submitted to Ideals, Charlesbridge and Boyds Mills Press before.
These publishers are on Facebook. You might want to go and like their page. That way you can keep up with happenings at their company.
PANTS ON FIRE PRESS
On their site they offer tough love advice on getting
published. In short, proofread your query letter, make sure your manuscript is
complete and ready for submission if they request a full manuscript, make your
conflict meaningful, and write in vivid details.
IDEALS BOOKS
Board book manuscripts should be no longer than 250 words.
Picture book manuscripts should be no longer than 800 words.
Charlesbridge publishes high-quality books for children,
with a goal of creating lifelong readers and lifelong learners. Imagine Publishing
also brought Charlesbridge into the adult trade publishing business with an
eclectic list of nonfiction titles and cookbooks, as well as a popular list of
puzzle books.
Boyds Mills Press,
the trade book division of Highlights for Children, publishes a wide range of
high-quality fiction and nonfiction titles for young readers. Established in
1990, Boyds Mills Press’s picture books, chapter books, novels, and nonfiction
focus on excellent storytelling, imaginative illustration, and strong
characters. Their exceptionally crafted titles are designed to entertain, inform,
and engage children of all ages.
Helping children develop a love of reading and learning is
at the heart of what they do at Capstone.

As always check out their list of published books, to see if your manuscript fits in with the type they publish.
Follow their guidelines, and . . . good luck!
I will post more publishers at a later date.
Thanks, Janet! This is great. I'm bookmarking it.

DeleteThanks for sharing these book publishers. It's really hard for me to break into the children's market. I sure will try these companies. Thanks for the advise. You always give good ideas about writing. It's hard sometimes to get work published, but you are very successful and I am proud of your success.
