Book Lovers Day
Today is Book Lovers Day!
So nice that books have their own day.
I love books. My house is overrun with books.
Old school books, vintage Little Golden Books, history books, how-to books, cookbooks, paperbacks, hardbacks, novels, picture books, middle grade books, chapter books, early readers, etc.
As you can see, I am not very particular.
Last year, I made a Christmas tree out of books. Go here to see it.
Right now I am reading a middle grade book called The Lemonade Wars by Jacqueline Davies.
What are you currently reading?

Hi Janet! I love books, too! Sure didn't know it was Book Lovers Day! Who decides these things?! :)
ReplyDeleteSomewhere last year I saw some of the "book" Christmas trees and thought what a cute idea! I plan on making one this year, at least in my guest bedroom/home office! Perfect ambiance, huh? Have a wonderful weekend!
Hi Becky. You have a wonderful weekend, too. Hope you get to make the 'book Christmas tree' this year.
DeleteI didn't know today's Book Lovers Day!! Love that. I'm reading THE MAGICIAN'S TOWER.
ReplyDeleteI didn't know it either, until I saw it posted on Facebook :o) Then I checked it out.
DeleteI didn't know it was book lover's day either! I'm reading WHERE THE RED FERN GROWS.
ReplyDeleteHi Marcia. Hope you enjoy the book. I don't think I've read that one before.
DeleteI didn't know this either. Didn't even know they had one. I'm reading Peter Jenkins, A walk Across America for the second time..lol.
ReplyDeleteSusie, you know a book is good when you want to read it over and over again.
DeleteMy whole family is obsessed with books. We could open our own library or bookstore.
ReplyDeleteI loved your book tree!
I'm currently reading Julie of the Wolves by Jean Craighead George. I love her other books, but I'm having a hard time getting into this one. Maybe a bit more and it will be easier. ;)
Hi Rena. I would love to have my own library - maybe I'll make one of those little ones. I haven't heard of Wolves - hope it gets more interesting for you.
DeleteLove your Christmas tree! I like books of all kinds, too. I have a few of my mother's old schoolbooks. They're my very favorite of all.
ReplyDeleteThanks, Carol. I also love old school books and have a few in my collection.
DeleteWell, I missed Book Lovers Day, but I do love books. This wasn't always true. Now I'm making up for lost time. I just finished reading Millicent Marie is Not My Name by Karen Pokras Toz, a fun book for Tweens.
ReplyDeleteI haven't read that book, Beverly. Sounds like a neat one.
DeleteJust found your blog. I love the look of it! I'm currently reading the YA novel Hourglass.
