Book Lovers Day

Today is Book Lovers Day!

So nice that books have their own day.

I love books. My house is overrun with books.

Old school books, vintage Little Golden Books,  history books, how-to books, cookbooks, paperbacks, hardbacks, novels, picture books, middle grade books, chapter books, early readers, etc.

As you can see, I am not very particular.

Last year, I made a Christmas tree out of books. Go here to see it.

Right now I am  reading a middle grade book called The Lemonade Wars by Jacqueline Davies.

What are you currently reading?

  1. Hi Janet! I love books, too! Sure didn't know it was Book Lovers Day! Who decides these things?! :)
Somewhere last year I saw some of the "book" Christmas trees and thought what a cute idea! I plan on making one this year, at least in my guest bedroom/home office! Perfect ambiance, huh? Have a wonderful weekend!

    1. Susie, you know a book is good when you want to read it over and over again.

  5. My whole family is obsessed with books. We could open our own library or bookstore.

    I loved your book tree!

I'm currently reading Julie of the Wolves by Jean Craighead George. I love her other books, but I'm having a hard time getting into this one. Maybe a bit more and it will be easier. ;)

    1. Hi Rena. I would love to have my own library - maybe I'll make one of those little ones. I haven't heard of Wolves - hope it gets more interesting for you.

  7. Well, I missed Book Lovers Day, but I do love books. This wasn't always true. Now I'm making up for lost time. I just finished reading Millicent Marie is Not My Name by Karen Pokras Toz, a fun book for Tweens.
