Hi everyone.
I am glad to announce that I've just published my picture book titled, Call Me Betsy.
It's available in kindle and paperback.
I've enjoyed putting this book together. It has a Betsy Ross timeline, Betsy Ross facts, instructions on how to make a 5-point star with one snip (and a link to my YouTube video demonstrating how to do it) and I tell about games colonial children played.
I'm a descendant of a Valley Forge soldier and I participate, dressed as Betsy Ross, in the Ripley Fourth of July Parade every year in my hometown.
I decided it was time to write a book about her - and I did!
I hope you enjoy this little patriotic book. Click here to go to Amazon to check it out.
Flag Day and the 4th of July are coming up.
This would be the perfect gift for a child or for yourself!
Janet,
ReplyDeleteCongratulations upon the publication of your new book. Sounds great. I sure will go to Amazon.com. Good luck with your sales!
Thank you, Brenda. Good to hear from you again.
DeleteThis sounds like a great book. I realized while reading your post that I don't know a lot about Betsy Ross- except the bare basics. The reenactment sounds like fun! Wishing you all the best.
ReplyDeleteThanks, I learned a lot too. She was a fascinating woman.
